What You'll Do
- Manage and maintain high-performance LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, and routers
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, latency, and connectivity issues
- Configure and optimize low-latency trading networks for maximum throughput
- Implement and enforce network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs
- Work with developers and traders to ensure seamless integration of trading systems
- Conduct capacity planning and scalability projects to future-proof the network
- Maintain documentation, monitoring systems, and failover processes
Who You Are
- 3–6 years of experience in network administration / network engineering
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent enterprise-grade hardware
- Skilled in TCP/IP, multicast, low-latency protocols, and troubleshooting tools
- Experience with Linux networking and scripting for automation
- Familiar with network monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Wireshark, etc.)
- Mindset of precision, security, and reliability under pressure
